This book is not just a self-help book but it’s content invokes revelation about what’s really important in life opposed to the imposters of importance we have been made to believe and what defines us. Every page has a life nugget, rather comical, practical or mind altering. I’d would certainly recommend taking the time to read this book to help not just your professional prowess but your life! As I’ve maneuvered through the information technology field, I’ve encountered many’good old boy’ networks of men who discriminate at all levels. Through personal examples, Theresa exposes these behaviors. I found myself relating to the indignities. Yet, Theresa left me with an optimistic view for taking charge and overcoming my unfounded feelings of inadequacy.
A must read for every woman in corporate America. Dealing with the frustration of being overlooked in the workplace despite my many years of experience and education is tough. In this book, Theresa shows women how to step into the limelight and excel in their career.
